So, I'm here!

Yup. I'm in Troy. Moved into an apartment, where I have a Bedroom 2.5X the size of my old one, and an OFFICE. Yep. I'm mature enough to have an OFFICE. whoa. There is still the random crap that is strewn everywhere. Random things that were so random that I didn't know what to pack them with and so are mostly still in a box labeled "Random Crap".

Going to the Walmart in Troy to buy cheap furniture etc was weird. I don't go to Wally World much... and was never really familiar with the K-Ville Stores layout. I made the mistake of going to the Troy one the Tax-Free Weekend. Lots of People, Lots of Things, weird arrangement. It was sensory overload.

My parents helped me move in, and to them I am eternally greatful. They really came through for me and were super awesome. They managed to fit everything into the van, and help me get adjusted to my apartment and my new town. I love my parents, they are really awesome folks, and you should be very jealous! Unfortunately, they had car trouble on the way home, because I made them check out a State Park near here that was hilly and the hills hurt the brakes. They had a 6hr drive hear. Not many would willing spend 12hrs in a car to do manual labor for their adult child!

I'm missing my wonderful couch and loveseat from my old apartment, there wasn't enough space to take them, so foldy chairs are taking there space for now. I was able to bring my old decorations and keepsakes, and I've managed to arrange things nicely. So while guest will have to sit in foldy chairs, they will be able to look at nice things.

First day of teacher in-service is tomorrow and the whip will crack. I want to come up with a complete unit before school starts, and stay ahead of the game.
