Congradulations Karen and Jason Adams
The Wedding was a great sucess. Despite spritzing on the way there (making everyone nervous). it cleared up in time for a outside wedding in Tower Park. It incorporated Christian and Jewish Traditions, including the groom crunching the wine cup, and the cool "Circle Dance" at the wedding. There was an open bar at the reception, and wonderful food. Since the reception was in the zoo, it was of course animal themed. With place markers at the tables--I was at the ostrich table. The groom is from London, so there were British accented conversations. At lot of college friends were there, and none of us were great dancers, so we all cut the rug awkwardly together. There was a live band, which was fantastic and they knew a excellent selection of music, from Johny Cash to some great slow dances. The Reception ended at midnight, and I shared a room at a motel, before driving home on Sunday. I wasn't that tipsy, but driving in St. Louis (unfamiliar territory) at 1:00am wouldn't have been fun.
Weddings should be a celebration of two people, being together for the rest of their lives. Mission Accomplished.
